The thermometer in Albany is dipping and I have little to write about, so I present you this poem.
When It Gets Cold Out
By Albany Dan Patterson
When it gets cold out, I play in the yard.
When it gets cold out, my nipples get hard.
When it gets cold out, everything freezes.
When it gets cold out, everyone sneezes.
When it gets cold out, I like to build snowmen.
When it gets cold out, it's quite a bad omen.
When it gets cold out, I sometimes get shingles.
When it gets cold out, my hoohoo, it tingles.
When it gets cold out, I drink me some cocoa.
When it gets cold out, I start to get loco.
When it gets cold out, I put on my gloves.
When it gets cold out, I go lookin' for loves.
When it gets cold out, everything's icy.
When it gets cold out, my love life's still dicey.
When it gets cold out, everyone bitches.
When it gets cold out, my wool sweater itches.
When it gets cold out, I construct lots of snow forts.
When it gets cold out, I defend with my cohorts.
When it gets cold out, you won't find many ants.
When it gets cold out, I pee in my pants.
When it gets cold out, I rent me a snow plow.
And since it got cold out, I have to be off now.
The end.
